The Cats of
Galomy oak

The cats at Galomy Oak also have important jobs...such as
keeping the dogs in line, shedding all over the house, and
shredding things such as the leather sofa, or the new
carpets. Stinky (Calico) joined Marcy in college (2000), Pete
(Black) & Oscar (grey) came to Galomy Oak in 2008.

Stinky has been on many outdoor adventures, the most
recent lasted 2.5 months, and gave all who loved her quite
a scare. She returned 8 lbs underweight, and covered in
ticks. Thankfully, all them are now as feisty and grouchy
as ever! All of Galomy Oak's felines are shelter rescues
that were adopted as adults. Please spay and neuter!

Cats reproduce like wildfire, transmit rabies, and are very
difficult to tame when they are born in the wild and caught
as adults - the number of cats dropped off at the shelter
and euthanized each year is heartbreaking and staggering.
